This position serves as a subject matter expert on all aspects of cyber engineering and centralized service development participates in cross functional teams as a cyber engineer. Core responsibilities include but not limited to:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Serveas a core contributor on multi-disciplinary project teams (internal staff and contractor staff) to improve the State cybersecurity services/solutions and respective implementation, including requirements developme
• Workwith stakeholders to assess legacy systems and identify opportunities for improve cyber security of future syst
• Leadtechnical solutioning to address agency intake requests and operational requirements
• Assesssolutions for implementation within the State as part of centralized services.

Education:

• Bachelor'sdegree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related Advanced degrees or certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.

General Experience:

• Minimumof 5 years experience in cyber security.
• Analyticaland problemsolving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions

Specialized Experience:

• Specificexperience in engineering and implementing cyber solution
• Experienceworking in cross functional teams as a cyber enginee
• Experienceleading solution assessment and requirements development and alignm

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduatedegree or certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
• Experienceasa cyber engineer supporting Endpoint Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Firewall, (P)DNS, SSL, CDN, and other core cyber services.
• Excellentcommunication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concept
• Projectmanagement skills, with experience in planning, scheduling, and monitoring the delivery of cybersecurity services.
